BENEFIT TO CHANGE HUE OF HOUSE OF BLUES

Officials from the Chicago-based Y-Me organization, including executive director Sharon Green, were in Los Angeles on Thursday to announce a collaboration between contemporary jazz artist Keiko Matsui and the House of Blues to promote breast cancer awareness. Matsui’s “Gift of Hope” tour kicks off May 5 at the Chicago House of Blues, which will become the “House of Pink” that day. Proceeds from the concert and sales of Matsui’s “New Hope” CD will benefit Y-Me. The artist will appear at other House of Blues clubs around the country that week as part of the breast cancer awareness program.
