A Lake Villa couple were charged Thursday with firing a gun at the home of a former business associate in an attempt to frighten the man.
Laura Egan, 27, and Peter Bouzanis, 33, each face multiple charges after Bouzanis allegedly fired one shot at the man’s home late Wednesday, police said. No one was injured.
Bouzanis was ordered held on $50,000 bond Thursday and Egan on $20,000.

Lindenhurst Police Chief Jack McKeever said Bouzanis and the man had a dispute over a large amount of money and over legal work performed for Bouzanis by the man.
The man was at home with his wife and child about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday when he heard a gunshot and saw a gold-colored compact vehicle racing away from his home in the 500 block of Madison Lane in Lindenhurst.
The victim phoned police, who tracked the vehicle to an apartment complex at 711 Waters Edge in Lake Villa, where the two suspects were arrested.
