A Round Lake man has been arrested after being accused of engaging in sex with the 12-year-old daughter of an acquaintance he met through a self-help counseling group, police said Monday.
Mark R. Ellickson, 18, of 318 Treehouse Lane, faces one count of predatory sexual assault of a child. He is being held in Cook County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bond. His court date is April 4 in the Rolling Meadows branch of the Cook County Court.
Police said the incident allegedly occurred in December at an apartment in the 1000 block of Charlela Lane.
