Since losing his old powers (X-Ray vision, heat vision and super speed) last summer by going into the sun, Superman is gaining brand-new powers:

–He’ll become an energy-based creature. Bullets will no longer bounce off him, they’ll

pass through him. DC Comics calls it “violent absorption.”

–Instead of flying, he’ll travel through the air like a lightning bolt.

–Superman will also have a few problems when he transforms back into Clark Kent, his alter-ego. When he’s Clark, he’ll be vulnerable to the same stuff we are, like colds and chicken pox.

Along with the powers and problems, Superman will get a new costume (about time!). The fun starts in March’s Superman (number) 123.
