Q. I met this girl when I was at her office one day, and I have sent her a few letters with poems and have called her a few times. We met about two months ago. I have asked her out, but on three occasions she turned me down. How do I know whether she is interested in me or not? How can I win her heart? I have three failed past relationships, and when she refused to go out with me I felt rejected. What should I do?
A. Of course you feel rejected–because she rejected you. Obviously she is not interested in going out with you and I cannot speculate how you might win her heart because I don’t believe you can. What you have to do is forget about her. You will have to undergo a period of mourning, and you will suffer a little, but the sooner you get over this girl, the faster you’ll be able to find someone who will reciprocate your advances.
