Citing increased travel and job responsibilities, Bonnie Proctor has resigned after five years as a member of the Kaneland District 302 school board.
Proctor, who was re-elected to a second term in the sprawling Kane County school district last year, submitted a letter of resignation last week during a school board meeting. No replacement has been named.
