Neuman Homes has asked the village to annex 67 additional acres to the Weslake Subdivision.
The company is also proposing to add 220 homes to the 650-unit development south of Taylor Road.
The developer, Kenneth Neuman, is seeking an amendment to a previous annexation agreement to rezone the land to multifamily use from single-family.
The Weslake Greens development would consist of garden homes, cluster homes and detached town homes.
