Lincoln-Way High School is experiencing the second-highest enrollment increase in its history, according to a report released to the school board last week.

Assistant Supt. Joe Davis said the addition of 255 students in the 1996-97 school year ranks second only to the 1994-95 increase of 270 students.

The district gained more than 1,000 students over the last five years, Davis said.
