DuPage County Board member Michael Formento (R-Glen Ellyn) was reported to be recovering Monday at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield from surgery to implant a heart pacemaker.
Formento collapsed at his home last week, county officials said.
A spokeswoman at Central DuPage said Formento’s family had asked that no information be released about his condition.
Formento is seeking re-election Nov. 5 in County Board District 4, which includes Milton Township and parts of Lisle Township.
