Five teens have been arrested on charges that they stole more than $13,500 worth of household items from a Darien residence this summer, police said Monday.
Seventeen-year-old Benjamin Queen of 2 S 277 Seneca Ave., Wheaton; Wichakrana Wungwattana, 17, of 823 Cherry Valley Drive, Vernon Hills; a 16-year-old Buffalo Grove boy; and a 15-year-old Chicago girl, whose names were not released, were charged over the weekend with burglary. Raymond Stauber, 19, of 1510 Johnstown Ct., Wheaton, was charged with theft in connection with the June 12 incident, officials said.
A garage service door was forced open to access a residence in the 7500 block of Knottingham Drive, and cash, jewelry and electronics were stolen from the home, police said.

Darien Police Detective James Topel said investigators linked the five teens to the burglary after some of the goods stolen from the home were recovered in another arrest.
