Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Andrew Shue of Fox’s “Melrose Place” is getting his kicks on the soccer field instead of with co-star Heather Locklear. Andrew joined Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy, making the final cut April 15.

“Getting out on the field and playing in front of that crowd, there’s nothing better in the world,” Andrew said.

It won’t be a prob for Andrew to kick the ball around his “Melrose” sked. The show won’t film again until July, games are played nights and weekends, and Andy works only a few days a week anyway. And his coach said he would accommodate Andrew’s schedule when his TV-star player resumes acting on “Melrose.”

Soccer at the professional level isn’t new to Andrew, 29; in 1992, he played in Zimbabwe for the Continental Indoor Soccer League.

And if it’s a choice between soccer and acting?

“I’m sorry, Heather, but this is a little better!”
