Q. Is there a difference between vaginal and clitoral orgasms? If so, what is it?
A. There is no difference between a vaginal and clitoral orgasm. The clitoris always has to be stimulated for a woman to have an orgasm, but there are some women who get enough stimulation from intercourse alone, while others need to have the clitoris stimulated directly.
Q. My partner and I have been together for over a year and a half. She has yet to have an orgasm with me other than orally. I feel my size isn’t the problem but she says we need to find her G spot. We’ve tried many positions, and rear entry seems uncomfortable to her. Any techniques you could recommend?
A. The first technique that I’m going to recommend to you is that you become sexually literate and know that there is no such thing as a G spot. It’s been written about a lot, but to date there has been no scientifically validated data showing that there is such a thing. Her reason for having an orgasm orally might simply be that it is the way that gives her the most stimulation.
If I were you, I would just be glad that you can give her an orgasm and leave it alone. There are women who do have an orgasm through oral sex for all of their lives. It doesn’t matter how an orgasm is obtained Just let her enjoy her orgasms any way you can.
