Stevenson sectional: It was business as usual for top-ranked Stevenson, rolling to a 44-16 halftime lead and coasting to a 91-32 victory over Grayslake. The victory was its 18th in a row, raising its record to 27-1. Katie Coleman scored 33 points, tying her career high.

“There were no major injuries–that was No. 1 tonight,” said Stevenson coach Frank Mattucci. “We wanted everyone to work up a sweat and play everyone who comes to practice.”

Waukegan improved to 14-11 with a 55-10 shellacking of Highland Park. Sheree Terry scored 13 and LaQuida Evans added 10 for the winners.

Carmel (10-16) earned the next shot at Stevenson with a 51-43 overtime victory against Wauconda. Aja Brown had 15 for the winners.

Class A

Illiana Christian regional: Heather Powell scored 21 to lead Illinois Lutheran (9-8) past Luther East 38-12.

Immaculate Conception regional: Montini improved to 24-5 after its 53-23 victory over Mooseheart. Jenny Carroll scored 11 and Jenny Long added 10 for the victors.

Reed-Custer regional: Katie Warren and Julie Halper each scored 10 as Coal City (12-12) took its opening contest from Wilmington 45-25.
