Officials will ask architects to produce three suggested designs for the village’s new public works facility, commissioners said Monday night.
The village plans to construct its new 57,000-square-foot public works building at Curtiss Street and Walnut Avenue. The new $5.3 million facility will replace the village’s crowded facility, which shares space with the Downers Grove Village Hall at 801 Burlington Ave., with an additional 21,000 square feet of outdoor storage.
