Purdue coach Gene Keady attended his father’s funeral Monday in Sacramento. He is expected to coach Tuesday night’s game against Indiana.
Keady also flew to New Jersey last week, where his stepdaughter remains in a coma after suffering a serious head injury. He plans to visit her again this week.
“He’s very tired–he’s been from one side of the country to the other–but I think he’s doing OK,” said Purdue assistant coach Bruce Weber.
