A man charged in the Oct. 27 robbery of a Milwaukee bank also is a suspect in a similar heist in Aurora, according to the FBI.
Anthony Ray Hughes, 37, was charged Nov. 6 with the robbery of the Firstar Bank, 2101 W. Fond du Lac Ave., in Milwaukee.
The Old Second National Bank of Aurora, 37 S. River St., was robbed Nov. 3 by a man who threatened a teller and left a bag on the counter that he said contained a bomb. Hughes has not been charged in the Aurora case.
