Molly Norwood of Rolling Meadows has resigned from the Harper College board, creating a vacancy to be filled by the current board.
Norwood, who served at her post since 1982, resigned to relocate to southern Illinois.
The college has a seven-member board elected for six-year terms. Norwood’s term expires in November and her successor will serve until the November non-partisan election.
The board meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month.
