A 32-year-old Palatine woman was killed early Thursday when her auto missed a curve and rolled over, police said.
The woman, whose name was being withheld pending notification of family, was driving north on Wilke Road about 3:30 a.m. when her car left the road just south of Rand Road, hit a ditch and rolled over, police said.
Passing motorists on Illinois Highway 53 saw the car in the ditch and called police. Police said the woman was dead by the time the Palatine Rural Fire Protection District responded to the scene.
She was pronounced dead at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights at 6:45 a.m., police said.
Police said the woman had not been wearing her seatbelt, but that did not seem to play a role in the accident.
