The Island Rendezvous, an annual historical fair that re-creates the fur trade between Native Americans and French Canadian voyageurs, will be held this weekend at the Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 East Romeo Rd.
Visitors will be able to walk through a 1700s encampment. On Saturday, there will be a canoe landing at 2 p.m., canoe races at 2:30 p.m., a beaver hike at 4 p.m. and a flint and steel contest at 5 p.m. On Sunday, featured events will include a black-powder musket demonstration at noon and a fashion show at 2 p.m.

The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
