A contractor who is building an underpass beneath the Chicago and North Western Railroad tracks will need the lane reductions to install a storm sewer across Lake-Cook Road, according to the Transportation Management Association of Lake-Cook.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at that location from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“The lane reductions may cause some traffic delays,” said the Lake-Cook TMA Executive Director Bill Baltutis.
