Walter Adamic said Friday he is asking Will County State’s Atty. James Glasgow to challenge Tim Brophy’s right to sit on the council, charging Brophy violated state residency laws by not living in Joliet for one year before the April 4 election.
According to Adamic, Brophy moved back to Joliet from Darien last August. Adamic, seeking his second four-year term from District 2, lost to Brophy 1,856 to 1,833 votes.
