Bill Wirtz, owner of the Blackhawks, was released from Evanston Hospital Wednesday, according to hospital spokesman Danny Chun. Wirtz had entered the hospital Feb. 7 to have a blood clot removed from an artery.

“We have no other information other than that he was released late this morning and was in good condition,” said Chun.

There was no word from the Blackhawks as to when Wirtz would return to his office.
