Dogs and cats will be unwelcome at a local park for one year, Park District commissioners said.
After listening to complaints about a dog who bit a resident in a Downers Grove park last year and the failure of some pet owners to clean up after their four-legged friends, commissioners agreed to designate Patriots Park as “pet-free” for one year.
