After a 24-hour police search for a missing Park Ridge woman, she was found on a park bench in Cary Thursday, police said.
The 40-year-old woman, who is unemployed and lives with her parents, was reported missing by her family Wednesday after she failed to return home from a walk earlier that morning, said Deputy Police Chief Jeff Caudill.
The woman was found after someone saw her sitting on the bench all day Thursday and called police, Caudill said.
