A 49-year-old Warrenville man awaiting trial on charges of child pornography and sexual abuse has been indicted on additional charges that he videotaped and photographed naked children.
Lawrence G. Kepley, of 2 S 446 Cottonwood Drive, was charged by a grand jury with three more counts of child pornography, according to an indictment released Tuesday.
Investigators in April allegedly found in Kepley’s possession a photo of a naked child in a sexually suggestive pose and a videotape of a child making sexual contact with an older person, according to the indictment.
In May, police arrested Kepley and charged him with two counts of child pornography and aggravated criminal sexual abuse for allegedly persuading a boy to pose naked for a photograph and for engaging in a sexual act with another boy, according to the indictment.
After that arrest, a judge ordered Kepley to have no further contact with any children unless their parents were present.
