Argo 75, Stagg 52: Jasper Mallory pumped in 22 points and Dan Stevenson added 12 as Argo (3-3, 1-0) cruised in the SICA North. Mallory was averaging 37 points a game, but he didn’t play in the final period.

St. Benedict 74, Holy Trinity 69: Al Bradley and Nekia Willaby scored 18 points apiece as St. Benedict (4-2, 1-1) held on for the Chicagoland Prep victory. Michael Santa scored 22 for Holy Trinity (0-6, 0-2).

Coal City 53, Sandwich 49: Alan Wills’ 16 points led Coal City (4-3, 1-2) in the Interstate Eight.

Lisle 70, Wilmington 47: Matt McLaurin scored 20 points and had 11 rebounds for Lisle (4-2, 3-0 Interstate Eight). Kurt Hansen scored 16 for Wilmington (2-4, 1-2).

Marist 61, Joliet Catholic 59: Chris Christensen scored 19 points and pulled down six rebounds, Justin Cuculich added 15 points, and Matt Manzke had 13 points and seven rebounds for Marist (5-1, 2-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Jack Freeman led Joliet (1-4, 0-2) with 18 points.

Thornwood 53, Homewood-Flossmoor 44: Delmaco Crawford scored 16 points and Maurice Moore added 13 as Thornwood (5-1, 1-1) prevailed in the SICA East.

University High 74, North Shore 41: David Cook scored 18 points and added 10 rebounds for U-High (2-3, 1-1) in the Independent School League.

Providence-St. Mel 71, St. Gregory 69: Quincy Miller scored 11 points, including the game-winner with :08 to play, for Providence-St. Mel (4-3, 2-0 in Chicagoland Prep). Bakari Autman, whose steal gave St. Mel the final possesion, led the winners with 15.

Illiana Christian 57, Luther South 54: Chad Wiersema scored 16 points and Lance Davids 10 for Illiana (3-3, 2-1) in the Private School League.

Sandburg 87, Oak Lawn 71: Sandburg (5-1, 1-1) pulled away from a 41-40 halftime deficit behind Chris Beranek’s 21 points and Tanner Mitchell’s 19 points and 13 rebounds. Adam Osmanski led Oak Lawn (3-4, 0-2) with 20.

Hillcrest 80, Crete-Monee 72: Jason Caston (20 points), Barry Bradford (14), Greg Simmons (11) and Walter Lesure (10) led Hillcrest (3-4) to the non-conference victory. Kenyea Beach scored 25 for Crete.

Chicago Christian 75, Aurora Central 71 (OT): Chad Harris’ tip-in with :02 left in regulation capped a Chicago Christian fourth-quarter comeback and sent the game into OT. Mike Sales led Chicago Christian (2-4, 2-1 Private League) with 18 points and Harris finished with 15. Aurora Central’s Mark Tomse had 19.

Andrew 75, Romeoville 53: Andrew (2-5, 1-1) cruised to a 46-16 halftime lead in the SICA West. Rick Saxour led the way with 22 points; Jaon Kwiat added 17.

Seneca 75, Reed-Custer 52: Adam Provance scored 26 points for Seneca (5-2, 3-0) in the Interstate Eight.
