player ready...Two women from Hong Kong were treated at Good Shepherd Hospital and released Thursday after the limousine in which they were riding collided with a school bus full of children.
Sandie Kwan, 38, and Stella Lai, 44, were being driven to a business meeting in the 600 block of Hart Road, when their limousine rear-ended a school bus parked in traffic on Barrington Road, about one-quarter mile north of Illinois Highway 68, police said.
Neither the bus driver nor any of the 39 children, who were heading to Grove Avenue Elementary School and St. Anne’s School, were injured, police said.
The limo driver, Thomas W. Brick, 45, of 1304 Kingsbury Drive, Hanover Park, also was uninjured but was ticketed for failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision, police said.
