Christian Ruutu, Rich Sutter and backup goalie Jeff Hackett are the most prominent players the Blackhawks will expose in Wednesday’s NHL waiver draft. Teams draft in reverse order of the way they finished the season and the Hawks could lose up to three players.
Most likely to go is Ruutu, a 30-year-old veteran with 127 career goals. Ruutu is coming off a year when he scored only nine goals and he missed the entire exhibition season because of a severe reaction to a prescribed medication.
