Two Chicagoans were killed early Sunday when their car struck a guardrail on the Northwest Tollway, state police said.
Krzysztof Glabinski, 20, and his passenger Ewa Zoltkowska, 18, were pronounced dead at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines after the 5:30 a.m. accident on the tollway at Mt. Prospect Road, said State Police Sgt. Joseph Jung.
Jung said Glabinski was driving the 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier west on the tollway when the car struck a guardrail and fell into a ditch.
