Batavia 2, Brother Rice 0: Tim Giesen and Kurt Hagemann scored the goals as No. 4 Batavia (3-0) prevailed. “We did a good job controlling the ball on the ground,” coach Katie Keller said. “I was pleased with our composure in the second half because it got pretty physical. But we had plenty of scoring opportunities and we need to start putting more of those away.”
