Reavis 46, Bloom Trail 0: Quarterback Tony Stone (6 of 10, 137 yards) threw a 21-yard touchdown pass and rushed for two touchdowns for Reavis (2-0). Dave Klucznyk rushed for two touchdowns and Josh Bryll caught four passes for 104 yards.
Marist 26, St. Laurence 0: Shawn O’Neil rushed for a 65-yard score in the first quarter to spark Marist to the non-conference victory.
Jimmy Blackmore rushed 10 times for 58 yards and Chris Miller hit Dan Cahill with a 7-yard touchdown pass for Marist, which bounced back from a season-opening loss to Brother Rice.
Barrington 27, Conant 16: Tailback Bill Bey rushed 21 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns, including a 54-yard score, as Barrington (2-0) topped Conant (0-2). Andy Engel caught a 55-yard scoring pass for the Broncos.
Argo 29, Kelly 6: Trailing 6-0 after one quarter, Argo (1-0) scored four straight touchdowns, including three by running back Chauncy Evers.
Rich East 35, Bloom 14: The defense for Rich East (1-0) held Bloom to just 18 rushing yards and scored on an interception return and a blocked punt. Rich East quarterback Quincy Woods scored on a 3-yard run and connected with Kofi Shuck for a 30-yard touchdown pass.
Lemont 35, Wilmington 6: Charlie Belander rushed 13 times for 102 yards and three touchdowns for Lemont (2-0).
T.F. South 41, St. Francis de Sales 22: Thornton Fractional South had 399 total yards thanks in part to Chris Clopton, who rushed 12 times for 132 yards and one touchdown. The Rebels’ 21-point second quarter was highlighted by Scott Mullen’s 35-yard scoring pass to Frank Martin. St. Francis de Sales had led 14-0 after 33- and 35-yard scoring runs by Taheed Johnson.
