Yet another Planet Hollywood restaurant-the 14th-opened Monday, this time in Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip.

On Sunday night, however, more than 9,000 star-struck fans stopped traffic on the busy street for more than four hours as they waited in 100-degree heat for the arrival of 60 celebrity guests and their entourages.

Steven Seagal arrived astride an elephant, while Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Whoopi Goldberg were delivered by the more-appropriate chariots. Others in attendance included George and Barbara Bush (who were given a jolly welcome by columnist and veteran emcee Army Archerd), and Steppenwolf’s Gary (“Forrest Gump”) Sinise and Moira Harris.

Once inside the restaurant, it was the usual upstairs-downstairs scene, as the celebs partied on a balcony and the also-invited clustered below.
