At a meeting attended by more than 100 residents opposed to the extension of Meier Road through to Central Road, the village Plan Commission approved a new comprehensive land-use plan that eliminates the extension.
The Plan Commission voted 8-0 Wednesday for the comprehensive plan that brings the village’s zoning laws in line with ordinances approved last October.
The commission’s vote is a recommendation that will be forwarded to the Village Board for consideration.
