The suspect accused of killing two men during a robbery at Maude’s Pizza in Waukegan pleaded innocent Tuesday to charges of first-degree murder.

Aldwin McNeal, 28, of Zion appeared before Judge Raymond McKoski and pleaded innocent to charges that he murdered Cory Gerlach, 28, the manager of Maude’s, and Perry Austin, 52, a friend of Gerlach’s, early April 7.

McNeal’s trial has been scheduled for June 27.
