Shortstop Jenny Bruno was voted most valuable player of the De Paul softball invitational won by the Blue Demons (22-7) with their 12th straight victory. Second baseman Missy Nowak, pitcher-first baseman Amber Podlasny, and right-fielder Erin Hickey all joined Bruno on the all-tournament team.
