Crystal Lake Central: Melissa Parker and Leslie Schock scored the final eight points of the game as No. 19 Elgin rallied from a four-point deficit in the final minute to defeat Belvidere 57-53 for its first sectional title.
Parker, who scored 18, hit a three-pointer and Schock (17) followed with a layup with :29 left to give Elgin (25-4) the lead. After a steal by Parker, Schock’s three-point play with :06 left sealed the victory.
“Parker is the most intense player,” Elgin coach Lee Purek said. “She just lifts the level of everyone else.”

Belevidere finished 26-5.
Wheaton North: Terri Zemaitis’ 35 points shredded Naperville’s North’s defense and led No. 6 Downers Grove South to 65-50 victory.
Downers Grove (26-4) will play No. 4 Hersey Monday in the Fenton Supersectional.
Zemaitis, who also pulled down nine rebounds, scored three quick baskets to open the game. The Mustangs rolled to a 22-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 37-21 at the half behind Zemaitis’ 19 points.
The Huskies closed to 46-37 midway through the third quarter behind a pair of three-pointers from Heather Mikkelsen and a basket by T.J. Williams. But Zemaitis responded with six straight points and Downers extended it lead to 52-37.
Williams led Naperville with 17. Nicole Little scored 12 for the Mustangs and Jaime Bielewski 10.
Oak Forest: Bloom took advantage of cold shooting by No. 20 Sandburg and upset the Eagles 43-25 to advance to the Sandburg supersectional against Joliet.
Sandburg (27-5) missed 23 straight shots and went scoreless for almost 15 minutes. Julie McGill’s free throw with less than eight minutes left in the game was the first point scored by the Eagles since Katy Svihlik dropped in a layup at 6:22 of the second quarter.
The unranked Trojans overcame a slow start, missing their first 11 shots and falling behind 13-5. The Morgan twins, Jameelah and Kameelah, and Theia Hudson led the Bloom (27-2) comeback. Kameelah led all scorers with 18 and Hudson added 12 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.
