Lincoln-Way held on for a 66-63 SICA West victory Friday night over Andrew as Mark Griffin scored 24 points and Ryan White added 15.
The victory kept Lincoln-Way (12-7, 4-1) a game behind Joliet in the SICA West. The teams meet next week.
“We played a lot better in the second half and we did a better job of running our offense,” said Lincoln-Way coach Steve Little, whose club improved a 28-23 halftime lead to a 47-38 advantage after three quarters.

Andrew (9-9, 0-5) was led by Mike O’Neill’s 33 points.
St. Rita 80, Weber 61: In the Catholic League, Charles Smith had 27 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for St. Rita (14-6, 6-3), and Marques Buford helped out with 17 points, three steals and six assists.
Tinley Park 61, Bremen 60: Bob Bahret scored 29 points, including four three-pointers, to lead Tinley Park (3-14, 2-3) to the SICA Central victory. Jason Becker had 16 for Bremen (3-16, 0-5).
Curie 69, Phillips 47: Anthony Hunt’s 23 points, including three three-pointers, and eight assists led Curie (10-9, 4-2) in the Red Central. Antwon Brown scored 20 points for Phillips.
Romeoville 59, Lockport 44: Mike Kirsky had 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Romeoville (8-10, 3-2) to the SICA West victory. Steve Stepney paced Lockport (7-11, 2-3) with 13 points.
Bolingbrook 69, Oak Lawn 48: Tony Smith scored 20 points, 15 in the second half, to led Bolingbrook (5-12) to the non-conference victory. Adam Osmonski had 15 points for Oak Lawn (5-12).
Marist 60, St. Viator 58: Dave Cahill squeezed between two defenders on an inbounds pass from underneath the basket and turned and hit an eight-foot jumper at the buzzer to lift Marist (14-4, 6-2) to the ESCC victory. It was Marist’s first basket in four minutes and nine seconds.
“We couldn’t sustain any runs,” said Marist coach Ken Styler. “Neither team could shake the other. That (final) shot typified the whole game.”
Marist was paced by Jim Franko’s 22 points-15 in the second half-while Cahill finished with 20. St. Viator (12-7, 4-4) was led by Mike Ansani’s 23 points. Brian Kopp added 19 points and 10 rebounds and Brad Bowsher had 10 points.
T.F. South 75, Oak Forest 53: Kevin Kunka’s 30 points led the way for T.F. South (6-11, 3-2) in the SICA Central victory.
Lisle 50, Coal City 27: Matt McLaurin’s 16 points paced Lisle (11-6, 8-1) in the Interstate Eight.
Argo 67, Reavis 62: Fred White (13 points) nailed down two free throws with :03 to seal it for Argo (11-6, 3-3) in the SICA North. Jasper Mallory pumped in 22 points and Reavis was paced by Ed Udziela’s 30.
Leo 55, Gordon Tech 52: Marshon Clark’s 20 points led Leo (10-11, 3-5) in the Catholic League.
H-F 76, Downers Grove South 66: Michael Bowens pumped in 35 points to lead Homewood-Flossmoor (11-7) to the non-conference victory.
Rich Central 69, Rich East 60: Sean Mason scored 24 points and Quinton James added 17 points as Rich Central (16-4, 5-0) stayed atop the SICA South. Rashaan Mitchell scored 14 points for Rich East (7-11, 0-5).
Sandburg 62, Stagg 47: Tanner Mitchell scored 14 points to lead Sandburg (7-10, 3-3) to the SICA North victory.
Shepard 65, Richards 52: John Economos scored 29 points and Randy Byron 18 as Shepard (12-6, 6-0) remained alone atop the SICA North. Levant Williams had 22 for Richards (9-8, 2-4).
Thornwood 57, Bloom Trail 51: Richard Morris scored 18 points to lead Thornwood (13-4, 4-2) to the SICA East victory. Andre Henley had 14 points for Bloom Trail (6-11, 2-4).
T.F. South 75, Oak Forest 53: Kevin Kunka’s 30 points led T.F. South (6-10, 3-2) in the SICA Central.
