Officials will discuss a proposal to outlaw the commercial sale of handguns and handgun-style air guns at a committee of the whole meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington St.
People would still be allowed to own handguns or handgun-style air guns.
The proposal also would permit the manufacturing, wholesale operations, import and sale of antique firearms.
