The Illinois High School Association Monday placed several proposed changes on a ballot that will be mailed to principals Wednesday. They include extending the boys’ and girls’ tennis seasons from 16 to 18 weeks; allowing softball teams to play a maximum of 35 games; allowing seniors to compete with physical exams taken up to 15 months before their season and prohibiting the tossing routines of cheerleaders and pom-pon girls.
