Buffalo Grove needs to keep winning to keep pace with undefeated Palatine in the Mid-Suburban North. And the Bison did just that Saturday, relying on the leg of Brian Wiseman.

Wiseman kicked field goals of 23 and 22 yards as the Bison (5-1, 2-0) claimed a 13-3 victory at Barrington.

Bill Bey’s 28-yard field goal in the second quarter gave the Broncos a 3-0 lead. But Buffalo Grove came back on Rich Ruttledge’s 3-yard run and Wiseman’s extra point for a 10-3 halftime lead.
