Soosan Nimrouzi received permission to open a 3,000-square-foot day-care center in two end units of the Olde Church Shopping Centre, 1032 Schaumburg Rd. The facility will be state-licensed for 50 children and use a side yard for a fenced-in playground.
Though the Public Works Department determined a ditch, several trees and sufficient distance between the road and fence would stop a car before it entered the area, trustees decided concrete posts should be installed.
Nimrouzi expects construction on the center to begin this month and be open by mid-December.
