A 23-year-old man was critically injured by gunfire Saturday night in a drive-by shooting.

Aurora Police Detective Marshall Gauer said Joel Laux was shot once at about 11:45 p.m. as he stood on a porch residence in the 600 block of East Galena Boulevard.

Laux was taken to Copley Memorial Hospital, where Sunday he was listed in critical condition.

Gauer would not comment on a possible motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made, he said.
