The county Health Department will have an immunization clinic for schoolchildren from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Government Center, 421 N. County Farm Rd., Wheaton.
A new state law requires that all children have two measles shots by the time this school year begins, said Susanna Roberts, school health program coordinator.
Children without two shots have a greater risk of getting measles, Roberts said.

At the clinic, a parent or guardian must accompany each child, bring the child’s immunization record, Social Security number and Public Aid medical card, if applicable. There is a $5 fee, but nobody will be refused because of inability to pay.
Clinic visitors are asked to use the north entrance and the garage. Parking is free.
