On Sunday, proceeds from locks-lopping at 600 salons nationwide where Aveda products are used will go to support the non-profit Give to the Earth Foundation.

The organization supports numerous groups, including Habitat for Humanity; the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence; the Pediatric AIDS Foundation; the Morning Star Foundation for Native American Culture; the Siskiyou Project, for ancient forest preservation; and the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, which encourages participation in matters such as clean air, water, energy efficiency and toxic waste solutions.
