The pedestrian bridge across the Tri-State Tollway between Western Springs and Hinsdale is scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. Monday, the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority has announced.
The bridge is being rebuilt and lengthened to accommodate the Tri-State widening and reconstruction project.

The work began at the end of the 1991-92 school year. Since construction went past the beginning of the 1992-93 school year, the tollway authority agreed to pay the costs of providing free bus service.
