COMMUTER SERVICE TO RAIL STATIONS RENEWED FOR SUBURBAN BUS ROUTES

Directors of the Pace suburban bus board have approved a $4.1 million contract renewal with Du Page Motor Coach to continue running 19 feeder and midday routes in the Naperville area for four years beginning Oct. 12.

The board also approved a one-year, $218,194 contract extension for Du Page to keep operating five rush-hour feeder routes to the Roselle and Schaumburg Metra commuter rail stations from Bloomingdale, Hoffman Estates, Roselle and Schaumburg.

Pace directors OKd a one-year contract extension worth $949,214 with Keeshin Charter to continue operating three routes originating at the River Road CTA rapid transit station in Rosemont.
