William Vodicka, who pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to a misdemeanor charge of delivery of alcohol to a minor, was scheduled to appear before Associate Judge Nicholas T. Pomaro on Monday in Rolling Meadows.
But Vodicka`s attorney, Marc Kadish, was busy with another case and could not attend the hearing, said Assistant State`s Atty. Dominick DiMaggio on Monday.
Vodicka was the second person charged in connection with the Nov. 9 car crash in Mt. Prospect that killed Kate Conlon, Meggan McDermott and Emily Serafin, all 14 years old. Neil Lawlor, who was 15 when he drove the car that crashed into a tree, pleaded guilty in May to three counts of reckless homicide in a juvenile delinquency petition.
Lawlor, now 16, who had no driver`s license at the time and had been drinking at the party, was sentenced to 5 years of probation and ordered to perform 2,080 hours of community service.
