Pin trading is one of the most competitive events of any Olympics, and though it does not award any medals, it certainly offers the chance to make some money. Not surprisingly, the biggest money makers here are pins related to the U.S. men`s basketball team. Some have all 12 players and some, just the original 10 (these were made before Clyde Drexler and Christian Laettner were added). Some merely contain the legend The Dream Team and some, The Dream Team-Barcelona Bound. Most rare are the pins of the individual players, which were printed in a limited edition and intended primarily for the use of the players themselves. But here is another of those mysteries that always surrounds an Olympic Games. There are hustlers on the streets who have bags of them.
