The pickup game, played earlier this week, was a goodwill gesture toward the Spanish police who have served them, and it matched a team of policemen against a team of USA basketball personnel. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was on the latter, as was 1972 Olympian Mike Bantom, now an NBA executive. Cavs coach Lenny Wilkens was part of that team too-for about 30 seconds. Hall of Fame guard Wilkens ruptured his left Achilles` tendon. He had it put in a cast, which he sported on the U.S. bench during its game Wednesday night, but will wait to have it operated on until he returns home to Cleveland.
