Two Waukegan men charged with trying to sell a half-kilogram of cocaine to an undercover federal agent for money and guns were ordered held on $150,000 bonds in Lake County Court Tuesday.

Jorge Palma, 39, of 1701 Sunset Rd., and Arturo Romero, 35, of 515 Second St., both were charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, according to Jerry Singer, a spokesman for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

The two face up to 50 years in prison if convicted. They were arrested by ATF agents, North Chicago police and Highland Park police in a parking lot near a fast-food restaurant at U.S. Highway 41 and Park Avenue in Highland Park.
